Privacy notice for business contacts

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This notice explains how we handle your data if we contacted you by email about our consulting services. Our general Privacy Policy covers our website and customers.

Who we are

AIKO Node, UAB (company code 307651739), Girulių g. 10, LT-12112 Vilnius, Lithuania, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: privacy@aikonode.com.

Why you heard from us

We contacted you because your role at your company suggests our business consulting services may be relevant to it. We write one-to-one, at most a few times, and stop as soon as you ask.

What we hold

Your name, job title, business email address, company name and publicly available information about your company. We do not collect sensitive data, and we do not contact personal email addresses.

Where we got it

From public sources such as your company's website, official company registers (for example Companies House) and professional directories.

Legal basis

Our legitimate interest in offering relevant services to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and the UK GDPR). We have assessed that this does not override your interests, and we apply safeguards: business contacts only, few messages, an easy way to say no, encryption of stored data and deletion of unanswered contacts.

Who processes it for us

Transfers outside the EU and the UK are protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

If you do not reply, we delete your data within 12 months. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only a minimal record — an encoded (one-way hashed) email address and the date — so that we never contact you again.

Your rights

You can object at any time and we will stop immediately. You can also ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data. Write to privacy@aikonode.com or simply reply "no thanks" to our email.

Complaints

You may complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt) or, in the UK, to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
